Sr. Air Force Test and Evaluation Manager

Location: Wright Patterson AFB, OH
Job Summary
DCS is currently seeking an Air Force Test Manager Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support its operations at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio, within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Fighter & Bomber Program Executive Office (PEO).
Primary requirements will include but will not be limited to the following:
  • Possess extensive test and evaluation knowledge and expertise working specific Air Force weapon systems preferably B-1, B-52 or Foreign Material Sales (FMS) programs such as the L-29 or Predator/Reaper program for a light attack platform.
  • Apply extensive knowledge and experience of Air Force acquisition program management policies and procedures across existing and future AFLCMC aircraft programs and platforms, systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, pre/post award project/program management tasks, and weapons system acquisition programs throughout their life cycles.
  • Apply Air Force military aircraft and weapons system operational knowledge and experience to identify operational and logistical impacts and translate operational requirements into contractual statements of work.
  • Develop and coordinate Flight Test Program Schedules that support the program’s Integrated Master Schedules.
  • Demonstrate expertise in avionics subsystem integration and including fire control systems, stores management, displays, navigation systems, data links, electronic warfare defensive equipment, and communications.
  • Apply knowledge of test infrastructure, including US government test aircraft configurations, instrumentation, and test capabilities, and contractor flight test capabilities.
  • Apply knowledge of the operational flight program (OFP) development and testing processes, translating requirements into executable programs.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must have 15 years of experience and an accredited Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
  • Must currently possess a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other standard (Customer specified) applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer experience and expertise with Air Force testing, evaluating, and acquisition processes and procedures
  • Desire testing experience from either at Edwards AFB or Eglin AFB.
